January 2026!

Hello!

I’m Rosie, a London-based illustrator working in pen-and-ink and watercolour for opera, classical music, travel, heritage, and premium brands. If you’re new here, welcome.

If we’ve worked together before, it’s lovely to be back in your inbox.

This year I’m sharing occasional notes from the studio: new work, behind-the-scenes process, and a simple way to commission my artwork.

What I’m up to right now…

  • Story-rich campaign artwork for cultural institutions and heritage brands
  • Illustration sets that build a cohesive world (as we ll as than one-off images)
  • Production-ready artwork designed to travel well across print, digital, and retail

If you’re planning a 2026 campaign, a guide, a programme, packaging, or a seasonal moment, I’d love to hear what you’re making.

A few recent favourites

Here are three pieces I’ve loved making recently:

  1. Classics for Ten Fingers — Oxford University Press
  2. Cello Songs — Stainer and Bell
  3. Christmas card — Golden Hinde

(If you’d like, I can sendwith a small PDF of recent work. Just hit reply and say “portfolio”.)

The simplest way to work together this year

If you’d like to commission artwork, the easiest first step is to reply with:

  • what you’re making (campaign, programme, book, map, packaging, event)
  • where it will be used (print, digital, OOH, retail)
  • your timeline and any key dates

I’ll come back with a clear recommendation, a rough schedule, and next steps.

Very best wishes,

Rosie Brooks
